You want more Tokens you say? Sure! There are many easy ways to get more Tokens. We'll explain them all here.

1. Log in to DiLiGO Slots every 20 hours to receive your Daily Tokens

Currently standard subscribers receive 1000 Daily tokens and VIP subscribers receive 2000 Daily Tokens.

2. Win Even More with our Email Token Lottery

Subscribe and validate your email address via "You" and "Email Settings" to sign up to get emails from us.  You'll get 500 Tokens instantly for validating your email address.  We'll also send you an email at midnight EDT every day giving you more Tokens!

3. Play the Leaderboards Strategically and WIN Tokens

We're giving away MILLIONS of prize tokens every hour, day, week and month!

The Hourly Live Leaderboard works as follows:

1. Your OVERALL position where you will compete with all DiLiGO Slots players for a spot on the Top 40 "Best Spins of the Hour" Overall Live Leaderboard.

2. Your specific GAME position where you will compete with DiLiGO Slots players who are playing the same game as you.

This now means that if you are placed in the Top 40 for having a "Best Spin of the Hour" on both the OVERALL and specific GAME Live Leaderboard, you will win token prizes from both!

Token Prizes are as follows: 

• 1st place wins 2000 tokens
• 2nd place wins 1000 tokens
• 3rd place wins 1000 tokens
• 4th - 20th place win 500 tokens
• 21st - 40th place win 250 tokens  

The Daily Leaderboard pays out 1000 Tokens to the Top 100 and 500 Tokens to those that place 101st to 500th.

The Weekly Leaderboard pays out 1000 Tokens to the Top 500 and 500 Tokens to those that place 501st to 2000th.

The Monthly Leaderboard pays out 1000 Tokens to the top 1000 and 500 Tokens to those that place 1001st to 5000th.

4. Upgrade the various Slot Machines to higher levels

Trade in the Points won from hitting winning combinations to upgrade any themed Slots machine to a higher level thereby unlocking a higher win pay out percentage or bonus features like Progressive Jackpots, free spins, Bonus games and more.

5. Enter a Lucky Draw

There are draws for 500 Tokens run every half an hour as well as daily, weekly and monthly draws for 5000, 20 000 and 50 000 Tokens respectively.

There are two kinds of half-hourly draws. The regular ones where you can trade in as many Points for tickets as you want thereby increasing your chances (statistically speaking) of being drawn the winner.

There are also "Max 1000" draws that cap each user at a max Point for ticket trade in of 1000 tickets / Points. This ensures that users have a more equal chance at being picked the winner. We highly recommend entering these draws.

6. Invite your friends to Slots and exchange Token Gifts with DiLiGO Buddies

Regular users can send 10 gifts of 100 tokens each, and VIP members can send 10 gifts of 200 tokens each in a 24 hour period. You can send a gift pack of 500 tokens to invite your non-playing friends to play.

VIP's can receive up to 4000 tokens in gifts each 24 hour period and regular users can receive up to 2000 tokens in gifts each 24 hour period!

7. Answer Questions

For answering various market research survey questions you will be rewarded with between 10 and 25 tokens per question.

9. Take up an Offer

DiLiGO Slots: Gifts "How to" Guide

So we've released a new Token Gift Exchange system and it seems that there is some confusion as to how it works. Well, it's time to set the record straight and give you some hints and tips on how to get the most out of Gifts! 

What Gifts gives you:

• The ability to send Token Gifts up to 500 Tokens to as many friends as you want per day. You can send each friend one Token gift per 24 hours.
• Your daily limit of Token Gifts is doubled if you're a VIP subscriber.

What you need to do:

• Get spinning! The more you spin the more you win and the bigger the Gift you get to send! Increase your max Tokens bet per line to increase your winnings (and the size of the Gift Pack) even further!
• If you don't have such a lucky day when spinning then don't worry- you can go to "Friends", "Send Free Gifts" and send a Token Gift to 50 of your friends!

How it works when playing Slots

There are three different ways to send a Token Gift when playing Slots. Two of these ways are dependent on you hitting a winning spin when playing any of our Slots Games. The third is built in to the game menu and acts as a "back up" option.

GIFT SEND OPTION 1 (newer games):

The first thing you'll notice is that there is now a "Gift" button on the newly updated games. When you win the "Gift" button will turn Gold so that you can click on it.

Hover over the "Gift" button to see the following message: 

Click on the "Gift" button and the following will pop up:

Followed by a Facebook popup that will take a few moments to update your list of friends:

By default your friends list will show "All". Click on "All" and change it to "DiLiGO Buddies" to see all your DiLiGO Buddies.

Select which friends you want to gift and click "Send Requests". The next time your friends visit DiLiGO Slots they'll receive your Token Gift (provided they visit Slots within 24 hours of your Gift being sent).

GIFT SEND OPTION 2 (older games):

When playing an older game like Original Slots or Ancient Egypt (one without the new button bar at the bottom), when spinning and you hit a really good symbol combination you will receive a pop up that looks similar to this:

Click "Send Gifts" and follow the prompts as mentioned in Option 1 to send a Gift.

If for whatever reason you experience a problem and the pop up disappears, you can click on "Send Gift Pack" to re-activate the pop up.

GIFT SEND OPTION 3 (menu header):

If you've just had an unlucky day when spinning those reels, don't dispair! You can still send 50 of your friends a Token Gift pack! Whoo hoo!

Click on "Friends", "Send Free Gifts" from the game menu to do so:

Remember: 

• You can increase the Token amount of the Gift by hitting bigger wins. If you increase your bet per line, you'll multiply your win and as a result increase the amount of the Token Gift available to send.
• Your Token gift limits are applied to a rolling 24 hour period (and not reset once daily).
• VIP subscribers can receive double the value of Tokens as Standard Subscribers per 24 hour period.
• There is no limit to the number of Token Gifts you can send or receive. Send to as many friends as you want! (Note that you can only send to each friend once per 24 hours).
• Send Gifts from 100 Tokens up to 500 Tokens depending on the result of your winning spin!

RECEIVING GIFTS:

If someone has sent you a Token Gift you will receive a request in the "Games" Dashboard on your Facebook Home page:

Token Gift requests will show like this:

 

To receive a Gift you need to either click the "Accept" button or simply visit Slots. 

You can see all the Gifts you have received by looking at your Inbox. Note that each amount of Tokens received as a Gift is listed separately:

Note that when you visit Slots you will receive ALL your Token Gifts at the same time. This means that your Token Balance as shown when you load Slots will be your Token Balance INCLUDING the Gifts. 

You do not need to go back to Facebook requests and accept each Gift, they have all been accepted for you and your requests will be cleared by you visiting Slots.

TROUBLESHOOTING:

Why haven't I received my Gifts?

You have, they've just all been added at once and were done so as soon as you logged in to Slots. Check "Your Inbox" to see the list of Gifts you have received.

Why does my friend not show in my friends list? She did yesterday.

24 hours has not been passed since you last sent your friend a Gift, or she has received her maximum amount of Gifts for that day.

It's our Birthday month and so we felt it was the perfect time to make some changes to the current "Token Gift" exchange system. Ten Gifts per day just wasn't enough for us- and we know you felt the same way too.

We have therefore redone our Gifting system completely from scratch. We've taken out the old system and replaced it with something so much better.

MORE Tokens to share with MORE friends...whoo hooo! (This also means you get more Tokens too!)

This new system is completely different to how we did it before, but as a result it's so much easier. In fact, it's as easy as SPIN and when you win you get a Token Gift to share with a friend.

Helpful hints for Slots from a DiLiGO Gamer

Another DiLiGO Gamer has blown us away with his "How to" guide for DiLiGO Gamers. Thanks Ken Wilson, this is the best advice we've ever come across- including what we've written previously in our article "Want more tokens? Get more tokens!":


"Hello DiLiGO Slots buddies.  Are you one of those players that gets nowhere with their daily allotment of tokens?  Are you wondering why certain people are at the top of the leaderboard a lot of the time?  Do you want to be up there in the Top 40 every hour you're on, on nearly every machine that you play?  Well, I can help you.

There are a few simple tricks that allow people to get better results than others in DiLiGO Slots and I'm going to show you how this occurs.

1. Use your 1,000 tokens wisely.  There's no use going to Driving Tinkerbell and playing 75 tokens a turn to try and get a miracle, use the tokens on more affordable machines.  On a 15 line machine betting 1 Token per line, this gives you 66 spins (50 x 15 = 990), on a 9 line machine you get 111 spins (111 x 9 = 999), and on a 5 line machine, your 500 tokens equals 200 turns, which allows plenty of opportunities to win!!

2. Spread your tokens around.  Using what I have said in Point 1, you can use your 1000 tokens to attempt to reach the Top 80 on multiple machines.  For example, you can do 20 spins each on Token Rockets and Ancient Egypt which is 360 tokens, and still have enough for 128 spins on Euro 2008, US Elections 2008 or Buccaneer's Bounty on 1x5.  With this method, you can contest for the Top 40 on multiple charts and who knows, you may have a good run of spins on the machines you play and turn your 1000 into 1500, 2000 or more tokens.  Take advantage of the trials that DiLiGO offer on certain machines to sample some of the special features on offer with the higher level upgrades.

3. Upgrade your machines.  As you build points, you'll find it better to upgrade your machine sooner rather than later to get more points out of your wins, which in turn makes it easier for you to upgrade your machines.  It becomes one nice improving cycle as you keep playing DiLiGO Slots more and more, making it easier to upgrade other machines at any other time.  Also, take advantage of the trials that DiLiGO offer on certain machines before you upgrade too, to maximise the amount of tokens that you can gain if you haven't already taken up the trial, otherwise this goes to waste.

4. Get in early with your wins.  As you play, on certain machines you will find that you will get the same score as another player, but you find that you are behind them on the leaderboard rather than tied.  Why is this you ask?  It's because DiLiGO rewards the first player to get that achievement.  So if you have two people who have 3 Tinkerbells on 5x5 for 10,000pts. competing for 1st overall, you'll find that the person who got the winning combination first gets the prize.  This applies all the way down the leaderboard aswell.  So get your big wins early so you can survive the barrage of people who get the same score as you and hold your Top 40 position more comfortably.

5. Don't be obsessed with 1st.  While it is fun to be the winner for that hour and have your name come up as the winner for that hour on whatever machine you have played, the simple fact is that you may spend more tokens than you need to in your pursuit of being number 1.  For example, you may get 1st on Beijing Olympics 2008 which is 1000 tokens, but you may have spent 1260 tokens in doing so, which means that you would be down 260 tokens overall anyway.  Always look to make a profit in the machines you want to play and be the long term star on DiLiGO Slots, not be the bright star that flashes up for an hour only to be not seen again for days or weeks again.

6. Get more DiLiGO Buddies.  The more DiLiGO buddies you have that you send gifts to and receive gifts from, the easier it will be to have a chance at making that Top 40 as you will have more tokens in your possession and be ready to stake your place on the DiLiGO leaderboards.  If you have just 10 buddies that gift to you, that's a minimum of 500 extra tokens that you can use to play for longer and get more points and tokens.

7. Get your badges and enter competitions.  You'll find on the Diligo page when they run competitions such as Badge Bingo that if you have those badges and win, then your win is multiplied if you have that badge or the set that badge is a part of.  Also, by being a smart cookie and answering the user submitted questions (or being the smarter cookie and submitting the question itself!) you can also get many more tokens as awarded by the DiLiGO staff.

Just remember people, there's over 7.5 million tokens available from the leaderboards every 24hrs from the 29 individual leaderboards and the overall leaderboard, the question is are you going to take your rightful share of it?? ;)

We will then send you a validation email to confirm that your email address exists. Check your email inbox for this email and make sure to click on the link contained in it to complete the validation process. Once completed your DiLiGO account will automatically be credited with 500 tokens!

6. Take up an Offer

New DiLiGO Slots: Inbox and Gifts

As mentioned in our sneak-preview and new look DiLiGO Slots posts there are a variety of new features and some changes made to DiLiGO Slot Machines.

INBOX

The Inbox will be a space where any notifications you receive will be stored and shown to you. Here you will be able to see when you last received Daily Tokens (so you can work out when you're next ones are due) as well as who has most recently sent you Token Gifts- Yeah! No more guessing!

You can find your Inbox by holding your mouse over "You" and clicking on "Your Inbox":

Note: The time shown will be server time which is EDT. When working out when your next Daily Tokens are due, make sure to convert to your time zone.

New DiLiGO Slots: History

Have you ever logged in to be presented with your "Inbox" showing your Daily Tokens received but then looked at your Token Balance and felt that you actually didn't get them?

For various reasons, most often related to a connection problem between your computer and our servers, your Token and/or Points balances may not update immediately. This is because all the various features of the app connect separately and independently of each other - and sometimes one may be a little bit behind the other.

Our advice: When in doubt (and to speed things along) refresh the page! Most often this will re-establish the connection and your Token and/or Points balance will update correctly.

However, we feel that it is also important that you have another way of "double-checking" that you are receiving the correct amount of Daily Tokens, Token Gifts and Points won in the games played. It is for this reason that we have created "History".

Move your mouse over "Help", then click on "History":

Your DiLiGO Games Account History will pop up as follows:

Here you will see that anything in green is a credit to your account (like Daily Tokens, Token Gifts, Hourly Leaderboard Wins, Lucky Draw Wins and Points Won) and anything in red is a debit on your account (like amount of tokens spun, amount of points spent to enter a Lucky Draw or purchase a Badge etc).

We therefore suggest that should you have any doubt about the amount of Tokens received, or Points won go check out your History first. If you still have a question about something you've seen there- do not hesitate to contact the Support Team by selecting "Help", "Contact DiLiGO Support" from the menu and one of the support staff will investigate your query and get back to you with an answer asap.

Note: Support will respond to your query within 24 hours Monday to Friday, but, because we're a humane company who do give our staff break from time to time, if your query is sent over a weekend, Support will get back to you as soon as they can on the Monday immediately following.

New DiLiGO Slots App

It's finally here! The new and improved DiLiGO Slot Machines game on Facebook! It's taken many months of blood, sweat and nerd tears- but our developers have done it and we know you're going to love it!

Beta Testing: Don't miss out!

On Wednesday we launched the Beta version of the new-look Slot Machines to a limited number of users to test for us. If you weren't selected, don't worry as you can become part of our special testing team by clicking on the "PLAY NOW" button at the bottom of this page!

To explain, a Beta version is a preview version of what will eventually be the final new-look DiLiGO Slot Machines on Facebook. What this means is that there may still be some bugs and problems that our developers need to squash and that's why we're asking you to test it for us and then let us know if there's anything that's not up to the DiLiGO standard you've come to love!

This Beta testing period will last for a relatively short time (no longer than a few weeks) and then we'll roll out the final new-look to all users! I don't know about you, but we can't wait!

Remember, you can check out your buddies profiles too. Just click on their profile picture and you can see how well they're doing in comparison to you.

We also realised that hitting big wins and getting awarded for it was really cool, but how could we make it even better? We know that you're getting big wins, and stacking up the points- but although upgrading your machines so you can win more points is an excellent way to get ahead- it isn't all that much fun now is it? So we got our DiLiGO Designers on to it and they came up with some awesome badges for you to buy and display on your Profile page. Boy have they gone wild! What to expect: Updated Features

We've also tweaked some old features and taken some stuff out to make things faster and easier for you. The first thing you'll note is that the Lobby screen is gone and you'll now load straight into the last game you played. This should speed things up for you and ensure that you get straight to where you want to be; watching those reels with your finger on the "spin" button!

We also know you love exchanging token Gifts, but that the previous gift store was not the best it could be. So our fabulous DiLiGO developers have worked some magic and redesigned and tweaked the Gift store to ensure that you get to send your 10 token Gifts to your DiLiGO buddies every day!

29/07/10 UPDATE: The new-look app is now available to anyone to try. Just click on the link at the top of the app page to try the new-look app.

02/08/10 UPDATE: The new-look app is now the default app. The old-look app will be available for a short while longer and you can access it by clicking the link at the top of the page, however, we suggest playing on the new look-app as eventually we will remove the old-look app completely.
