Badges- What's the Point?
We've heard this often. What's the point? Why should I purchase a badge with my hard-earned points? Well- here are our reasons:
- They're an awesome way to show your friends how well you've been doing on the Slot Machines as clearly those with more badges are doing better than those with none!
- They look so cool on your DiLiGO Profile.
- We're going to be running special promotions that will reward you with Tokens for completing an entire Badge set (ie. getting them all!) within a certain time period.
SPECIAL PROMOTIONS
After the release of our first Badge Sets some players jumped right in there and completed these first sets within record time! We thought this was so awesome that we decided to give you free tokens! These tokens were credited to your account on the 12 August 2010.

In August we released two new badge sets: "Mini Mammals" and "Tropical Fruit". For collecting all badges within either of these badge sets before the end of August 2010 we gave you 2000 free tokens! Free tokens were credited on Wednesday 1 September 2010.

In September we released two new badge sets: "Cutlery" and "Bubble Fish". For collecting all badges within either of these badge sets before the end of the 4th October 2010 we gave you 2000 free tokens! Free tokens were credited on Tuesday 5 October 2010.

In November we released a new badge set: "Buccaneer's Trophies". For collecting all badges within this badge set before 10am GMT 16th November 2010 we gave you 2000 free tokens! Free tokens were credited at 11am GMT 16th November 2010.

In December we released a new badge set: "White Christmas". For collecting all badges within this badge set before 12noon GMT on 3rd January 2011 we gave you 2000 free tokens! Free tokens were credited on 3rd January 2011.

Just finding out about the badges...so to earn extra tokens, will you still win if you have already posted winners...say in the casino treasures?

ReplyDeleteReward tokens are only given when a specific promotion is being run. Therefore, to be able to receive reward tokens you need to have collected all badges within a specific badge set before the end of the related promotion period.
I use my points to upgrade my machines! So, how am I supposed to buy badges, too? Just wondering!

ReplyDeletePoints can be used to do many things:
1. Upgrade the Slot Machines to higher levels in order to unlock increased pay outs, special features, Progressive Jackpots and Bonus Games.
2. Enter Lucky Draws to stand the chance to win Tokens to play with.
3. Purchase Badges to display on your Profile.
4. And potentially more in the future...
Obviously you need to make a decision as to what you feel you want to spend your Points on- this is entirely up to you! :)
I think it would be much better if we were awarded/given more than 500 tokens to play with each day...maybe say 1000, I mean to allow the opportunity for a little more play (or) maybe even the ability to play a few more tokens within spins on those certain games that allow, each day we all come here. Why only 500, I mean it's not like we can win actual money that would be paid out, just a little more fun and time spent on this site. There aren't too many of us that actually win extra token to play with. Com'on people....
