DiLiGO Interview: Mary

Name

Mary

Date of Birth

4 July 1985

Who would you say your celebrity  doppelganger is?

Someone once said I looked like Lady Gaga. I don't believe them. I think I look more like the cartoon character Scary Miss Mary or Emily the Strange.

What do you do at DiLiGO Games HQ and how  much do you LOVE it?

I do a little bit of this, a little bit of that. Mostly I work on promotions like the Leaderboard Challenges, Badge Bingo and User Submitted Questions as well as the bigger promotions like the High Flyers Challenge. I also help Louisa to put the monthly DiLiGO Newsletter together as well as manage this Blog.

I love my job! Who thought you could get paid to do be on Facebook? Or to do something you enjoy! I really like that my job is both social and creative.

Which do you prefer and why - playing Slots at a casino or on Facebook?

I've only ever played Slots at a Casino once. I lasted 5 minutes, lost a bunch of money and then it was all over. So I much prefer playing DiLiGO Slots on Facebook. If you've got a good strategy you can play for hours and there's no way you can lose money! It's also much more fun in that you can chat to your friends who are all over the world on Facebook at the same time whereas they might not be able to join you at a real Casino.

What is your favorite game on DiLiGO Slot  Machines and why?

I really love playing Zoo. I seem to win more when I play this game. I also love playing Forbidden Love. I just love that Vampire animation!

What theme would you most like to make?

I LOVE STARS! I'd love to see a theme with the moon, sun, planets and stars. That would be so cool!

What's  your best strategy for playing slots?

I like to bet max. I only spin a few times on each machine until I've got a top 20 Leaderboard position on the Hourly Leaderboard. After that I move on to another game and do the same until I'm on at least 4 or 5 Leaderboards. I then spend the rest of the hour watching those positions and spinning more to keep them if the need arises. It's also a good idea to build up a bit of a stock of "back up" tokens. So I don't spin all of mine down each day. In the beginning I logged in a few days and let them pile up before I got seriously into playing.
